PDF to Podcast FAQ
Quick answers before converting study material.
Is the PDF to Podcast tool free?+
You can generate one free PDF podcast per week. The free limit is designed for readable study PDFs up to 25 pages.
What type of PDF works best?+
The tool works best with selectable text PDFs such as notes, chapters, handouts, and exported lessons. Scanned image-only PDFs may not have enough readable text.
Is this just a PDF reader?+
No. The PDF text is first converted into a short podcast-style script with two speakers, then generated as an MP3 conversation.
Can I choose the podcast length?+
Yes. You can choose Quick, Balanced, or Deep Dive before generating the MP3.
How long is the MP3 available?+
Generated MP3 files are temporary and expire after 12 hours. You can find active downloads in My Podcasts inside My Library.
Can I leave the page while the podcast is generating?+
Yes. Generation continues in the background after the job starts. You can return to My Podcasts, and an in-app notification is sent when the podcast is ready or fails.
Do you store my PDF?+
The browser extracts text from the PDF and sends only the text needed for generation. The generated MP3 is temporary and cleaned up after expiry.
