PDF to Podcast FAQ
About your sources, episodes, and downloads.
Is the PDF to Podcast tool free?
You can generate one free PDF podcast per week. The free limit is designed for readable study PDFs up to 25 pages.
What type of PDF works best?
The tool works best with selectable text PDFs, TXT notes, or pasted study material. Scanned image-only PDFs may not have enough readable text.
Is this just a PDF reader?
No. The source text is first converted into a short podcast-style script with two speakers, then generated as an MP3 conversation.
Can I choose the podcast length and style?
Yes. You can choose from various modes like Quick, Balanced, Deep Dive, Quiz Show, and more before generating.
How long is the MP3 available?
Generated MP3 files are temporary and expire after 7 days. You can find active downloads in My Podcasts inside My Library.
Can I leave the page while the podcast is generating?
Yes. Generation continues in the background after the job starts. You can return to My Podcasts, and an in-app notification is sent when the podcast is ready or fails.
Do you store my PDF or text?
The browser extracts or reads the text and sends only the text needed for generation. The generated MP3 is temporary and cleaned up after expiry.
